Plus sized ladies...Question

A really good friend of mine is very plus sized. In addition to being heavy, she is tall and has enormous breasts. Anyway, she needs to find a bridesmaids dress in black. She was going to order something online, but how can you really order something like that online. And you cannot return it.

What fancy dress stores carry larger sizes that you can actually try on first? I know Estelles, but where else...She is like a size 24-26 and almost 6 ft. tall.

I cannot remember the name for the life of me...its on Bell Blvd accross from the LIRR. They have dresses for every shape and size.

I wear a size 26 and got my wedding gown from david's bridals -- so I'd imagine that you could get a bridesmaiddress there as well. I'd give it a shot!

I was in a wedding in NY while living in the UK and what I did was order a sort of half finished dress that was made slightly too big, so once the dress came, I had to take it to a tailor near me and they took it in. It was beautiful and really easy.

So thats what she can do, order it slightly too big and have it taken in.
