VERY GROSS TMI

I had my baby about a month ago and I still have a brown blood flow, my stictches still have not dissolved, and it still hurts down there. There is also a very bad odor. SORRY FOR THE TMI....but is this common?

I wouldn't be worried about the bleeding and stitches, I had the lochia discharging for 6 weeks and it took a while for the stitches to disolve. At my 6 weeks appt they were pretty much all gone, but they seemed to disolve quickly right before that.

I'd be concerned about the smell, you may want to have your dr take a look to make sure all is ok.

It s definitely not suppose to smell foul, if it is cathing your attention I;d call the doctor. For the frst week or so there is a strange smell, but not foul smelling.

I beileve the bleeding is still normal but definitely not the foul odor.....I had that same odor and when I went back to the doctor to have it checked out they realized that they left a sponge in me. I would definitely check it out ASAP!

Absolutely have it checked!! Bleeding is still normal but not a foul smell!!

I have to agree with everyone else the bleeding is normal but the smell is not
