Bush/shrub removal. Any recommendations?
Can anyone recommend someone to pull out and dispose of medium to large sized bushes/ hedges from the front of my house?
Nassau County. Any price info would be appreciated.

save yourself some $$. just go buy one of these, and do it yourself. (home depot has it for $23)
we did. it's not that hard at all. we probably saved about $200!!  Image Attachment(s):

We had medium to large bushes in the front side and back of our house---we took a nylon rope (bought at home depot) and tied it around the base of the shrub/bushes and tied the other end to the back of the car and pulled----no need to cut them or anything---just wrap them up and put them out for special pick up!

We had bushes in front of our house that had been there for 40 years!!! We bought a landscape bar to cut the roots, but it took forever b/c the roots were so strong, plus they were wrapped around tree roots!!!!
Never again!!! It's worth the $$ to pay someone!!

Never again!!! It's worth the $$ to pay someone!!
same here. the roots were all over the place and deep. I felt bad for DH so I hired someone to do it- they did it in 2 hours dug out the entire front yard and it was a disaster. worth every penny!!!
