Although I have a very flexible work schedule and could do a weekday, I voted weekend because I thought it would just be easier.

We can do either, but if its a weekend, Saturday is much better than a Sunday.

Weekend. I'd try to make it during the week - and depending on the age of the kids there I'd bring mine.
