Post pics of your blue rooms...
My parents are creating a room in their new home for my son and they're allowing me to do anything I want. I remember seeing some beautiful rooms here on pregnancy. I'd like to do a chair rail with blue and another color. I just need ideas...
Ladies post those beautiful nursery pics please!!

It was DH idea to pick these colors. I had something similar in mind like you, but DH was so ino the nusery I didnt fight it. Image Attachment(s):

Our nursery color is Monet Blue. Very light and we picked it for our first and we did not know the sex (turned out it was a boy, but it will now be the room for a girl too!).
We did minimal decorating (no borders, etc.) so that it could be the nursery for future kids (good thing because now we are having a girl).
With Andrew, it was blue and yellows. With our girl, it will be blue with pale greens. I will start the nursery transformation soon, hopefully before our girl arrives!

My MIL has a playroom at her house. and she's a "beige/white" kinda person, which Im VERY NOT  so it took me months to convince her to make it colorful.
So we did 3 blue walls, and one red wall (like a deep red) and I figured primary colors are not masculine or feminine, and go with boys and girls. So then the accessories, frames, blanket on the bed in there, etc are all patriotic theme. She even got curtain rods with red/blue stars, and sheer curtains with stars, all the toy stuff (table, tox box, etc) goes with the theme and color combo.
ITs gorgeous. I'll try to post pics this week.
Shes happy she didnt go with her usual beige

where did you get that mirror over the changing table?
It actually came as part of a set with our new bathroom sink vanity. We never used it because it was so big, so we put it in her room instead. We got the set at Home Depot.
