This is what we have to look forward too...
My dear friend is now 7 days past her due date and is miserable. She has an appointment to be induced Monday evening if Mother Nature doesn't step in by then. Anyway, I opened my e-mail this morning and she had sent me this....
Ode to Braxton Hicks
It’s after ten,
I’ll say it again,
I’m miserable and can’t sleep a wink.
My tummy hurts,
The pain comes in spurts,
Water is all I can drink.
David’s asleep on the couch,
Here comes one now, ouch!
Oh yes, I’m supposed to relax.
I don’t see the light,
These are “practice” pains, Yeah right!
It feels like I’ve been hit with an ax.
Dear Mr. Braxton Hicks,
I’d like to give you two kicks,
In your #@*%, let’s see how you like it.
For I am sure you’d agree,
You’re better off than me,
Who’s awake, in pain, and feeling like s--t!

That's cute. . . so many of my friends have given birth over the oast 2 years, I'm totally not looking forward to the labor part of the whole thing LOL!
