Dog Training Schools
Has anyone put their dogs in Training school. I live in suffolk and we are looking for a litle training. We have a yellow lab. She is 5 months and just needs to have a little training. Thank you.

Pet Supplies Plus also provide them. There's one in the Elwood Shopping Center in East Northport. We are thinking of taking Lulu (our dauschnd) there for some little training commands.

I don't have her number on me right now but all I remember is that her name is Maria and she's located in Suffolk, I believe on the south shore. LOL. I found her in the yellow pages. It was 2000. Sorry! Good luck!

Highly Recommend Happy Dog Behavior in Huntington. Ellen runs the training school. We have taken 4 courses with her, starting with Puppy Kindergarten and just graduated Advanced Training last night. She is fantastic and we couldn't be prouder of the well-behaved doggie we now have with the help of her classes. Please contact me if you have any questions [email protected].

I went to a group class at Pet Smart. It was more the trainer teaching us what to do, and then it was up to us to practice at home....which I was kind of lazy about.
Lola "graduated" but I don't think she really learned a whole lot!

They've done an amazing job with Scout - you can go on their web site and see videos of their group classes, which you can take for life after the one-on-one training is done....
