Estate Sale???? What Should We Expect???
There is a house that is an Estate Sale that we are interested in seeing.
What do you think we should expect?
Do you think it will be an utter mess?

it could be - it may be outdated.
Ive seen foreclosures in better condition than some other homes.
I would go see it and keep an open mind!

I bought an estate sale. The house was immaculate - the realtor and executrix were very good friends with the owner so they took very good care of her home after she passed.
I think it's hit or miss - depends on who is interested in getting the money, imo.

Check it out. Ours was an estate sale also. Liked that better houses are usually empty and sellers are rady to close quickly
Our was dated but clean and well maintained

We had seen a listing that was an estate sale- the house was in great condition- clean and it had been expanded..It needed some updating though, but that was all.

The house we are in contract for is an estate sale. It is in very good condition and is basically empty. It needs updating but nothing immediately. We also do not have to worry about them finding another house before we close.
Good Luck!
The one thing to look for and they will probably try and negoatiate the sale "as is" they are not going to want to do a whole bunch of stuff after the inspection so you may not be able to negotiate too much after your accepted offer.

Our house that we bought was an estate sale and it was very clean.
We are selling danielles uncles house, in New hyde park and that is an estate sale too. The house is very clean, outdated but clean.

I also bought an estate sale, it was immaculate. Everything was updated (cheaply)..but it was move in condition, empty and super clean.
Also, got a great deal bc previous deal fell through, and family was eager to sell....
