anyone elses newborn HATE being bathed?
Aly SCREAMS when she gets a bath. I feel so bad-like I'm torturing her!

Jack sure as heck did.
But yet loves the pool, ocean and his inflatable tub. I learned bathwise he was like his Mom and liked pretty warm baths and I was doing them lukewarm when I up'd the temp a bit he got happier when he was little. We only did real baths maybe once a week and wiped him down every night. I never understood the romance of giving a newborn a bath because my son wasen't a huge fan of them when he was a newborn.

Mallory screamed horribly every time I bathed her, she slowly outgrew it and now LOVES bathtime and being in the pool!

Ryan hated being sponge bathed... but loves being in the warm water....
I take him in the reg tub w/ me....I dont even use the baby tub anymore!

Kaylee is the same way. She screams when she is taken out of the bath and or being dressed.

In the begining they all hate to be in the bath, its so new to them, once she gets use to it you wont have a problem!

Have you tried taking her in the tub with you? I don't know if her umbilical cord is off yet or not. Miranda is so relaxed when her whole body is under the water (not her head) and she just loves bathtime this way over the baby tub. We use that on occasion and while she doens't scream she's very fidgety and a little bit fussy.
The downside of the big tub for me is that I usually need DH's help getting her in with me and taking her out.
Just a suggestion.

Yup, my baby did the same thing in the beginning. Fortunately you don't have to do it that often, expecially since its the winter. They just don't get that dirty -- a washcloth can do the job most days.
