Embarassing moment today...
..So today I brought my DD to meet my bosses for the first time - they have been out of the state until now....and I drove up to their house, took her out of the car, started walking toward them as they were standing on their porch waiting for us...looked down and my DD had pooped so bad it had all leaked all over and down onto my white pants
I nearly DIED....I so badly wanted to run back to the car and take off for the hills..
She is a B.Fed baby so you know what thats like...lots of yellow poo exploding everywhere...................
To make matters worse I had tried to cut her nails before going over there and had nicked her skin so on top of the poop she was bleeding on me as well..
Can I take bad mother of the day award please

I know how bad BF baby poop explodes! I have had that happen to me too at friend of friend's house on memorial day weekend!

Thanks for all the
Lessons learned today;
1) NEVER feed DD just before you leave the house
2) NEVER wear white before, after or during labor day.... if you have a baby
3) ALWAYS bring a change of clothes for you and the baby
4) NEVER let them see you sweat...
4) Remember you can also log on to LIF and get support from other moms who have been there......
I guess even though my DD is 4 1/2 months I am still a "new mom" and lessons have to be learned the hard way....I read about moms taking a spare set of clothes for themselves but never thought I would need them.....ha ha...big mistake....I had tons of stuff to do in town and couldnt walk around with a big poop circle on my pants.
I am so going to bring this up when DD is 13 and yelling at me because I wont let her get her tongue pierced!
