Question about sciatic nerve pain - help

I have an awful shooting pain from my lower back, through my butt check down my leg - is that b/c of my sciatic nerve? It's so hard to walk - what can I do to alleviate some of the pain?

Yes, that is what I had when I was pg. My Dr. told me there is not much you can do for it, he said Tylenol, heating pad, massage. He said anything he would give for it you can't take while pg so to try those things.

I have that and sometimes I still get it worse than othes. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do.

I had this before and after giving birth. So painful. Doc said all she could recommend was massage and some yoga poses - down on all fours and arching your back up and then down then lying all the way back on your heels and stretching out your arms on front....hope you get some relief- for me this pain was worse than childbirth!

I had it earlier this week. 15 minutes on heating pad, 15 minutes of cold and keep alternating.

i had it for a while too - but it went away like magic and knock on wood, has been gone ever since!
