What mattress protectors are best?

What do the mommies have on their crib mattresses? What do you need and are absolutely necessary?

I don't wanna be changing the whole bedding set out everytime there's spit up or a leak nor want to spend $$$ on things that dont work or are a waste.

I use "The Ultimate Crib Sheet". It fastens over the regular crib sheet and when it gets wet all you have to do is unsnap it and replace it with a new one.
