My friend had unexplained heavy bleeding throughout her pregnancy and she has a very healthy and beautiful daughter! The Dr.'s couldn't tell her why this was happening but all tests were coming out fine each time. I'm sorry you are going through this!

Diane- I am so sorry you are going through this. I know quite a few ladies that had bleeding through pregnancy and everything turned out fine.

I'm so sorry you're going through this! I sort of know how you feel. I had red bleeding 2 times so far. The first time was at 6w3d and the other time was at 8w1d. Both times they said everything looked great and they don't know why. Nothing showed up on the ultrasounds either. I also bled when I was PG with my son. The second time I bled my OB/GYN said that at the end of my cervix it looks like part of the tissue from the inside could be causing the bleeding. I forgot what it's called. I believe the tissue is partially sticking out. Also, with my son 1 time I was bleeding was because we had sex the night before, and that my DH must of "bumped" my cervix. Your cervix is so sensitive right now with the blood flowing to it that even a hard sneeze can cause a bleed. Did they do a pelvic exam?
I've also heard that with twins it's normal for 1 baby to be bigger and taking more nutrients over the other baby. It's not always equal.
I can't say not to worry, because I still am myself, but everything will be fine! There could be a million reasons as to why you bled. I have noticed that it's more common nowadays for women to bleed. I have no idea why, but I hear more about it. Good luck on Tuesday!!!

Diane I am so sorry. But it is a good sign that the dr. said everythign was ok and still saw both heartbeats.

Diane - I had bleeding at 6 weeks with the twins,and it also looked like twin A was bigger than twin B. As of my 12 week sono yesterday, both measured exactly on target. Try to stay positive. I was told it is not uncommon to beeld with twins - something about the uterus stretching a a much faster rate.

Diane I'm sorry Try not to stress out too much, wait until you see your dr. I've heard its commong for one twin to grow bigger and faster than the other. I'm glad that the bleeding wasnt coming from the babies or your uterus, thats very good news. Hang in there and I would get as much rest as you can.
