decorating question-if you have vertical blinds
we have vertical blinds in our bedroom but it just looks so blah..I want to add curtains or something to make it look more like a bedroom. But the blinds stick out so far that you cant put up a curtain rod also...
what do you do?

I finally got RID of my verticals (dining room) and put up a sheer and curtains. I love it!

I would get rid of them...but only b/c I really don't care for vertical blind's much.
If you are intent on keeping them, I think they make curtain rods that extend a bit beyond the window. Maybe something like that would work for you...

I got rid of them (almost every window in the house had them, I felt like I was at the doctors office all the time) but there were valances over them.
