Washing clothes...

we might of already had a thread on this but im too lazy to look...

What do you all use for your babys clothes...???? I know DREFT is supposedly #1 but someone said I could use ALL free n clear, since its a little bit cheaper and it has no dyes or perfumes....

I was gonna start washing all of our clothes with this since its the same price as tide...???

I use Baby All. It's less than half the price of Dreft, and she hasn't had a reaction to it. She has pretty sensitive skin, I changed her bath soap once and she broke out in a rash.

I used the baby All also. Haven't had the baby yet so hopefully she doesn't have a problem with it.

I used baby all until a friend just gave me 4 of the cosco size jugs of dreft but I have to say I like the way that baby all washes better. The bibs just looked much cleaner and the whites were whiter with baby all then with dreft

Re: Washing clothes...

I love the smell of Dreft. I used it when my son was little & I will use it again. Plus it's great at getting out stains!

I have use Dreft, All Baby and Downy Snow (not sure if that is the real name) and no issues. I got all three at my shower and they all worked fine and no reactions so far.

I use the regular All Free and Clear and its been fine so far. I also wash Kevin's clothes together with mine and my Dh's and its been fine. I didn't see the need to do seperate loads just for his clothes.

I bought Dreft before the baby was born and I haven't had to get a new bottle yet but when I do, I will try the Baby All and see how it is. But I do like the way Dreft smells.

Re: Washing clothes...

Im still using dreft but when this is done I am going to all free n clear, my PEd said I could switch over. Big savings that way, since I pay 20.00 or so for the big dreft at BJ's lol

Re: Washing clothes...

I used Baby All in the beginning and washed all her clothes separately and now I use All free and clear and all our clothes get washed together.
Dreft is really expensive!

Re: Washing clothes...

I used Dreft for six months then switched to All Free and Clear and Aidan had an Eczema flare up. I went back to Dreft and it cleared up so I continue to use it at 15 months and wash his clothes separate.

I also like to keep his separate so that his little socks and things don't get lost in our big ol' clothes. Its only about 1 load a week anyway.
