Phone Conversation today
Background: I am looking for silver shoes open toed shoes that I have to wear for my brother's upcoming wedding. I went to a couple stores today on my lunch break, but I couldnt find anything. So, my co worker suggested that I look on the Luv My Shoes website. So, I did, and found the perfect pair. It said that there were only 3 left, so I called their customer service to find out which stores they were in so I could go and pick it up. Cust Service gave me location of the shoes- so I called the store and this was the conversation that occured after being on hold for about 5 minutes.
Salesperson: "What is the style of the shoe?"
Me: 581/COL (I said back slash)
Salesperson- (i hear her typing) "5 8 1 / C O L. Hrm- I cant find- what is the style number again?"
Me: 581/COL
Salesperson: "No, I cant find it. Can you repeat it again?"
This went back and forth again for a few mins. Then this:
Salesperson: "Can you spell it for me?"
Me: (confused)- Spell it? I thought I just did"
Salesperson: "5 8 1- how do you spell back slash?"
Eventually she found the shoes, but still!
