Tonight / Thursday......
.......is our 2nd homestudy appointment. I just want out of the office and be on our way. I can't produce anymore work today, done and tired and just want to get on the train home. ahhh.
Hope everyone else is good today.

Hi Jenn--
This was the last visit. We are done. Just going to wait for the HS to be submitted to NB and wait for our fingerprint appt. NOW, DH is anxious, he said last night that the wait will not be as easy and he thought --we are going to have to keep a bit busier than normal.
We really liked our SW....she is a sweetheart!

You mean we have to go through the home visit more than once????????  
I thought it was a one time thing. 
How did it go??
No word from my dude yet. He's not returning from his 2 month vacation until tomorrow. 
We just got the dresser for my nursery so it's really coming together!  Now we just need that fence....

You need to meet w/ the SW 2xs. First visit was at our house and she was w/ us for 2.5 hours. Then last night we met at Borders in Riverhead for 1 hour, but it actually was less time, but the 3 of us were chatting for a while longer. We love her and we enjoyed talking w/ her...she told us we will be awesome parents, sooo that was all I needed to hear!
Great about the baby's room. I found a crib I love but am holding off for a while. If Joe needs help w/ the fence, Scott can help install it instead of hiring outside help. They can go to HD/Loews and get what you want--unless you just planned on hiring someone.
2month Vaca, must be N I C E!!!!

For china its a two time homestudy, for korea only 1 time.

 , I just read this now. I had Joe all crazed. He was like, "The SW really led me to believe he was only coming once and so did Cathy. So did all of the other families we met that are adopting from Korea. What gives?" Geez, the Korea process is SO much easier! How was the 2nd homestudy, Sandra?

Sandra: YOu are too sweet offering up Scott's help with the fence. Does he know you did that though? ! I love how all of my girlfriends always offer up their husbands' services! I just may take you up on that if you're serious though.

I can't even remember now but I think we had 3 visits. All super short but I think it was three times over a month's period.
