allergic to oatmeal?

I am wondering if Logan could be allergic to oatmeal.. He pukes A LOT.. Like projectile vomit usually about 1/2 - 1 hour after eating oatmeal. He doesnt do this with the rice cereal or the barley... What do you think? Could he have an allergy to it? Could it just be a coincidence?

ETA - how do you know if your baby is allergic to anything? LIke how do you test for it?

If he only does it w/ that one tye of food he may be allergic or maybe it upsets his stomach. Poor baby! Have you spoken to his dr. about it yet.

He could be allergic to it. It may bother his tummy. I would call the doctor and tell him what is happening. He may tell you to skip the oatmeal.

I know that Jake is allergic to milk products becuase right after he eats anything, around his mouth gets all red and his belly hurts him.

I know with the frutis and v eggies they say if they have allergies to it they usually get a rash on the tummy and chest. Sometimes the face.

the oatmeal maybe too heavy for his little tummy call the dr. and see what they say maybe if you make it more liquidy that might help.

As dumb as it sounds it could be a texture thing...

My son had some problems with foods because of the texture.. I am much older and still can't eat tomatos because of the texture! lol... I would ask your dr and see wha he says..

Do you combine the oatmeal with milk, water, formula, fruits or veggies?? Or is it just plain?? You can try adding fruit to it.. it makes it more sweet and changes the texture! Good LucK!
