Anyone have an OB reccomendation in Manhattan
if so can you send me some details, my doc is just an GYN, too bad cause I adore her. I know she will give me reccomendtions when the time comes but I rather start doing some research

I go to Kenneth Kaplan and I like him a lot. He's incredibly thorough. When I told him DH and I were going to start TTC in a few months, he immediately did a sonogram to check everything out, went over all the prenatals, and spoke to me at length about diet and fitness.
He's affiliated with NYU Medical Center
I like him.

Great I will keep her in mind, she is right accross the park from me and she is associated with Mt. Sinai which is a major plus. how are her office hours if you dont mind me asking

i think the hrs are pretty flexible. I've had early morning and evening appts.
i'm on the east side too so i was happy about the mt sinai affiliation.

I went to Dr. Kaplan about3 years ago and really liked him, but switched because I didn't want to keep going into the city. ( I hate taking the subway )
So I switched Dr's but I think Dr. Kaplan is a good recommendation

where are you located?
my friends use Murray Hill OB/GYN- they are affiliated w/ NYU Med.
they are on 32nd St off Lex.
Murray Hill
I used to go there and LOVED It but they stopped taking my insurance.
Now I go to the suite of doctors at Beth Israel ambulatory at Union Sq. South and 14th st.
this is their main number- just ask for ob/gyn

Im on the Upper East Side and I think I rather stay close to home so that my DH can go o ultrasounds appointments and what not and I really like Mt. Sinai compaired to Lenox Hill
