OK...you knew it was coming...how much did you pay for your house?
If you put down any money, please reply with percent amount...I think this will really help those "in the hunt". 
Also, if not in NY, please reply with location.
As you all know, I'm not in NY...I'm now a GA peach!

I'll answer first...we put 0% down and the seller (which was a bank) paid CC.

we put 3% down. we financed 103% with a sellers concession.
we are paying 359k. We got a really great deal on the house. Def worth more but they wanted to move.

Put down 35%
We've been fortunate that we've been able to pay down almost half the mortgage since we've been in the house (10 months), between the sale of DH's condo and a very generous bonus early this year.
We took out an interest only mortgage with a fixed 7 year interest rate. In which time DH is determined to pay the mortgage off. We pay $1000 extra towards the principle each month

We put 50% down
We pay extra principle each month so we should be free and clear in about 12 years.
We had a house to sell.
We also had to do 100K worth of renovations (all new electrical, heat, CAC, kitchen, bathrooms, interior doors, so much more) before moving in, the house was that bad.

Yes, I did see it Susan...it was an afterthought and spin-off of that same thread since I wanted to do a poll and see the numbers that way (much easier)...some of my friends are looking and every little bit of info helps.
