Is it a fashion no-no
To wear open toe shoes with stockings?
The dress I am wearing tonight is kinda shiny and I only have open toe shoes to match! HELP

I dont really like it  However they sell stockings for open toe shoes. The toes are cut out.

Really? Ive never seen them, cool!!! but I thought they sell stockings without the line near the toes for open toe? I know I have seen those! I forget what they are called.

I would never wear open-toed shoes with stockings. I'd opt for the ones with the toes cut out as well.

Yes, it's a no-no...sorry! 
The stockings mentioned above are called "Spanx" and Hanes has an imitation of it. Macy's, Victoria's Secret (I think) and most places (department stores) sell toe-less stockings. I wore them on my wedding and no one, but me, could tell!

Yeah...they're super comfy. Just like leggings except that they're stockings. If that makes any sense.
