SO ANNOYED! UPDATE on my "friend " who makes nasty comments situation....
Remember how I posted about this so called friend who made it her point to tell me I need to get serious about thnigs with a baby... I was taking a nap and got woken up to-
" Hi, I was calling to tell you I was reading a magazine about infertility and I want to go over the article with you!".
Imagine waking up to that?! I was like what the f 5$%&* ? I did not pick up the phone.
I am so angry. I have been avoiding her since the last comment- can u imagine? I just needed to vent. After having 1 MC and getting "harassed " about my sex lfe, I needed to vent. I know I will get pregnant and/if need be go to a doctor for further testing, but it hurts so much. Why is it anyone's business what is going on in my body?! Thanks for listening.

I just saw this and I am sorry you had to deal with this. I hope this was not the same insensitive moran that we both know!

People have no idea what we go through. I know how you feel.
I had one friend (key word "had") that would say some really hurtful things. For example I was talking to her about one of my sono appointments and I was saying how the dr saw a couple of cysts on my ovaries...my friend cuts me off and says well my doctor said I have beautiful ovaries. This girls head is so far up her own *** I couldn't take it anymore.
Wow your thread just made me vent a little too. Some people are just so ignorant!

That is why this IVF cycle, I am not telling anyone but you ladies (and my mom) about the cycle! Too much unnecessary stress!

I have a friend that is on her way to becoming an ex-friend. I was at a party last weekend talking with her and another woman who is pregnant and due in January. Of course it was an "oops" pregnancy. Anyway, my friend says to her 'wow I feel like everyone is getting pregnant' and then turns to me and says ' I mean, except for you'
Some people are truly clueless. I"m sorry you have to put with up with such an insensitive friend.

I agree
I agree as well. It's SO annoying, I think people think they are helping and supportive, but they sometimes don't get it.

Thank you for all the support. I eventually told this so called "friend" becuase I could not take it anymore and she has not said a word since.

Good! She probably thought she was doing a good thing by trying to keep you informed. Hopefully, she will respect your wishes.
I had to tell one of my friends that I do not want our whole conversation to be about my infertility struggles. So now she just takes my lead. I also hate it when I talk to friends and they have this "ohhhh pooor you" tone in their voice. I don't need their Sympathy!!! No One DiED! Arghh! Vent over.
