VENT--Co-Workers have KIDS HERE

I am in on a Saturday, to catch up on some work, not getting paid for it because I am on salary, and 2 of my other co-workers came with their kids (ages 6, 7, and 8)

Theya re decorating for halloween, and they are also typing on the typewriter, talking, singing, laughing. ]

The parents are not saying anything, so finally I said, can you please quiet down, and the kids all were like, we are playing.

I am so frustrated, I could Scream!

Their parents think its "cute"...

I would flip out and write a letter to the boss explaining just how inappropriate it is.
Weekend or not...its a place of EMPLOYMENT...last time I checked, thats very different than daycare.

my BIL always brings his daughter to his office on the weekend
I think its wrong....she gets so bored and it is fair to eveyone else

I have plenty to discuss with my boss!

Now, they discovered the phones have intercoms, I took off my headphones(have my walk man so i do not have ot listen to them) and just yelled, can you knock it off with the phones?? they all looked at me, parents did nt say anything still, and they stopped. give me a break, its not "cute" or "fun"...

This is insane!
