Horrible Accident on 347 in the Setauket Area
anyone hear anything about an accident on 347 last night around 6:00? i was driving w/ my nephew and both lanes east bound were closed due to a horrific accident. there were several police cars, fire trucks and ambulances. the only thing i was able to see when i drove by was a man lying face down in the street w/ paramedics surrounding him.
i didn't hear anything on the news but i  that the man and the other passengers survived.
ETA: there was also a helicopter circuling the area but that could have been for the port jeff sound accident

i drove right through that exact location just minutes BEFORE the accident happened!!!!! 
I was VERY grateful for the timing!!!
I hope everyone involved will be ok!!!
