For ladies whose babies got into position...

are you feeling intense pain when you walk in your hoo-hoo area? I feel like I can feel the head sometimes yet I know the baby is high up.

Yup. It is so uncomfortable. I found that floating in the pool is the only way to relieve some of the pressure. Best of luck.

How far into the pregnancy did your babies get into position?

I'm only 29 weeks now so I know i have time, but the head is still at the top, feet at the bottom.

And I've been feeling pressure in my hoo-hoo when I get up after sitting for a long time, like on my commute home from work, for a while now. I hate it.

Oh yes.
Right now the pain is almost unbearable. For me its not so much in the hoo as it is just under the belly. I am pretty much in tears at the end of being on my feet 8 hours for work. I really want to be put out of work early but I don't know if medically they can put me out Chat Icon .Walking is a chore right now it hurts so much.

The baby turned at about 32 weeks, but I have heard of earlier. I feel like I can feel the calcified head. Like something hard hitting me "down there".

my biggest problem is the even more frequent bathroom trips,
especially at night it stinks.
its like I get done going and I have to go again.

Typically the baby turns around 32 weeks.

When I walk my dog - I am fine for the first half - the second half of the walk I swear her head is IN my bladder and I have to pee URGENTLY! Ah the joys....

Re: For ladies whose babies got into position...

I figured I'd go back to this post, because I had my first lamaze class last night. The instructor told us about a lot of pains that we may be having already, or will be having most likely soon, including the hoo-haa area.

She said this is called round ligament pain and it's caused by the muscles constantly stretching themselves to prepare for the baby's birth, as well as pressure from your growing baby.

She said that kegels, pelvic tilts, and squats (although she said not to do squats until 2 weeks before due date because they can bring on labor) help a LOT to strengthen the muscles. She said at first the exercises might hurt worse, but then it'll get better because you're strengthening the muscles and also stretching them in a good way.

Let me know if you want more info on the exercises.

Re: For ladies whose babies got into position...

Your welcome! Let me know if you need me to explain any of the exercises, although I know they explain the kegels and pelvic tilts in what to expect when you're expecting if you have that book. but i can also FM you with the descriptions if you need it. She said to aim for doing 5 sets of 10 of each exercise, but start slow, one week 1-2 sets, then gradually move up!
