Moms of boys... HELP... Penis issues????
My son has found his penis.... for real.
The past couple of weeks I have been really sick with the new pregnancy, and I have noticed my son had two "accidents"---
One was on the floor in the hall, and one was on the oversized cushion pillow (from the back of the couch) that he plays with and leans on on the floor... I thought his "accidents were just from droopy diapers, or because hes been kinda picking at his diapers lately,and the other day I kinda noticed his penis poking out of the side of the diaper-- but tonight I am sitting on the couch, and my friend is visiting, and all of a sudden she says, " I think I know why your son has peed on some of your things recently" I look over, (he's sitting next to her) and his penis and his testicles are hanging out of the side of the diaper!!!!!!!!!!!  I almost died!!!
I tried my best to (a) not laugh, (b) not die, lol and (c) play it off.. I took him to the hall, out of view of my friend and told him that part of having good manners is making sure to keep his diaper on... especially when a lady is at our home... and that if he needs to go potty, he needs to tell mommy, yatta yatta yatta... I asked him if he had to go pee-pee, he said no-
He's TWO AND A HALF... what do I do? Its obvious he knows its there, and I know he's exploring his body.. but..... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree i would definatley start potty training !!! I wouldnt worry its compltley normal(even though that dose not help you with the  ) but think of this havent we all seen grown men sitting on the couch with their hand down thier pants , scratching etc.  i guess once they find it....they never let it go !!! good luck!!!

I kind of know what you are going through. My son was "playing" with his tonight while taking a bath and having a ball!! He will be 2 next month. My dh said this is normal for him to be discovering his body, which I understand but it is still weird to me-lol!!
My son is also getting ready to potty train. He wants to sit on the toilet and does it at daycare but has never peed yet though. He tells us when he poops though.
