sorta family related---
i am planning a baby shower for my sister-in-law...
with the costs involved, i cannot pay for this on my own... whose "responsibility" is it to chip in for this shower? her parents? is is tacky for her husband to have some involvement with paying for it?
thanks in advance for answering these questions or for any help... this is the first baby shower i am highly involved with the planning.

I alwys thought it was the mom's or sisters who through the shower. But i went to a shower last weekend where the husband paid for the whole thing.
