Parents are driving to North Carolina to visit my brother and SIL

And they said the weather is HORRIBLE!
My mom said she hopes it doesn't come to us because it is torrential downpour with HIGH winds!

My brother and my Mom will be driving from Tampa/GA/NC (it's a trip with many stops) this weekend and I'm worried about them driving and this storm too.

what are of NC are they heading to? my parents are at their house down in cape hatteras in the outer banks, and said the storm came through last night and there was a lot of rain and it was windy, but it wasn't too too bad. the house is one of those beach houses up on stilts, so they said they could feel it shaking a little bit with the wind. but, other than that they are doing good- and they said the weather there today isn't too too bad..

i live in NC..we had a lot of rain, but we are not flooded...some places water is over their cars!

I spoke to Mom and Dad around 10:30 and they had gotten in a half hour before. They left at 6AM but they hit a lot of traffic, accidents, fallen trees and flooding.

They arrived safely and the weather is fine in New Bern where my brother lives. It was just an adventure getting there.

I wonder if we will get it tomorrow
