It has come to an end.... I'm so sad
My SAH mommy days are over! I've been off since The beginning of Feb. My DD is almost 7 months now and I am feeling so guilty in leaving her.
I have had it good. I was paid for maternity at full pay for 6 weeks and then I had 12 weeks (FMLA) pay at 70% of my salary. That took me up to the last month of school so I only missed 2 paychecks. It was so worth it! I know that I was lucky to have this and since I have been off, the district got rid of it from our contract. I was blessed to be able to spend so much time with Bella.
Now, it's back to school time and back to work for me. I am excited about starting a new school year but don't want to give up my SAH mommy life! I know so many of you do this and I'm sorry if I sound like a brat. It's hard for everyone.
For all the working moms out there,
 's and I have no idea how you do it! I will be trying tomorrow!

I start agin tomorrow. I actually went back in may but it was only for 2 monts. This time is harder though. Well just think OCt 2 we have off.

Well just think OCt 2 we have off.
True, but my DH is Jewish and we spend the day fasting for Yom Kippur and with family the night before and to break the fast at sundown on Yom Kippur. So, not really a vacation day for me.

I will be going back to work tomorrow too. It will be very sad to drop off our little ones tomorrow. It is going to be a long and tough day for us.
