She may have a similar fertility situation to mine.
It's very hard for me to conceive because I have PCOS, hence my need to do IVF, but PCOS patients's fertility systems are often "jump started" after a pregnancy. PCOS patients do not ovulate regularly. It's as if our systems are suppressed for many years.
That's probably what she had and just got lucky with her first pregancy. Second, she needed drugs.
Once they are started by a pregnancy and the hormones normalize they usually ovulate regularly. The older a woman gets the more the body wants to get rid of the eggs so it's not uncommon for natural multiples in women as they approach or are 40.
My doctor told me it's not impossible that once I get pregnant with my first I will be Fertile Myrtle. I find that hard to believe since I didn't ovulate for 7 years w/o drugs.

All 11 family members will be living in a one-bedroom apartment in east Los Angeles. She said the living room is large, but she isn't sure what the family will do when the babies get bigger.
