It's killing me keeping this a secret....UPDATE
My parents are coming to take us to dinner tonight for my birthday (nice day huh) and we're not telling them yet. They're going to Vegas with a group of friends this weekend, and I just don't want all the friends knowing before the rest of the family does. So we're waiting until I go to the dr. on the 26th, when I'll be about 8 weeks. But the waiting is killing me....I want to tell EVERYONE!!!

my doctors appointment is on the 25.. DH wants to wait to tell his parents until after that, i of course told my mother... i can't keep anything from her... the wait is killing me also. I want to tell the world!!!

It's not easy - it's this secret that is just bursting to get out.
When I was 12 weeks, my twin & I went to lunch. She said "Are you pregnant?" I said "Oh god, I've gained so much weight, is that why you asked?" She said "No, no, I just had this feeling you were."
The NEXT day we told our family as planned. She said "I ASKED YOU! WHY DIDN"T YOU TELL ME!" I said "We were waiting to tell everyone together - I didn't want to blow it."
But it was tough....Good lucK!

Well, we couldn't hold it in. I got a message from the dr yesterday, who officially confirmed the pregnancy. We talked on the way to dinner and decided we were going to tell my parents and swear them to secrecy. My sister came too, and when we walked in the restaurant they were waiting at the bar, and she handed me a DRINK!!!!! I was like, in a minute, I'm soaked. I carried the drink to the table with me, then once we sat down I told them....what a relief.
I'm so excited though!!!

We told my in laws right away but told them to keep it quiet until we made sure everything was good. We finally started telling friends this week at 14 weeks, so I totally understand how you feel.

We told our parents too - we swore them to secrecy - it felt so much better after telling someone - it was killing us.

I know that feeling. We waited until after the first trimester. What made it tougher were peoples comments on why we probably weren't pregnant!
