What does he first movements feel like???

eveyone says flutters....I haven't felt anything like that, I think!

does it feel like when you have a case of the "butterflies" when you're nervous about something????

Mine felt like someone tickling me lightly from the inside. I have also heard the first movements described as a light fluttering, like wings against your skin. My doc had told me not to expect to feel anything before 20 wks, so I thought it might be gas lol, but then the more I felt them the more I knew it was our little one :) In the beginning I mostly felt it lower on my belly, below my belly button.

thanks for replying. There have been times where I've felt like I have a case of the nerves in my belly, then other times I've felt this wierd twinge or almost like a muscle ache in my lower abdomen.

The first thing I felt was little gas bubbles, like in a fish tank, the bubbles that run up through the tube... I felt that every once in a while for a couple of weeks, and then it became more substantial, like a little tiny moth fluttering around in my belly... and then it started to feel like a fish was swimming in there. Now, it feels like a little human being, punching and kicking to get out!

I first felt this wierd kind of tugging feeling from the inside. Then the more noticable movements felt like a bubble or balloon popping inside. Now they are all kind of different sensations from kicks to rolling to hiccups to what almost feels like the baby shivering sometimes.

At first it felt like little bubbles, now it feels like there's a little moth in my belly (below belly button).

I never felt the "fluttering" - I always described it like someone strumming a guitar inside my belly...

For me it felt like I was being tickled from the inside in my lower belly area.
