May be a weird question, but looking for BBQ/Grill Person...
...to BBQ for a Beach party in August.
Does anyone know of any catering companies that do this?
We will supply all the food, we just want someone to grill it so that we can enjoy our friends & family w/o having to be in front of a grill all day.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated!!!

I'm not sure if a specific person. I know in most cases, if you have a deli cater your BBQ, they usually offer a person to come bring the food and grill for you for an added fee. Not sure if the offer just the person to grill, but I'm sure you could ask one of your favorite delis that does catering.

Try Tom Nash at ACE Caterers. We are using them for my DD baby dedication and their food is AWESOME!! He does everything and I think he could provide a grill person for you, give him a call. http://www.acecaterers.com/

Elegant Eating in Hauppauge may, but they are more like a full-service--down to the linens and tables--caterer at home or on location. They did my shower so I can vauch that they're amazing.

iI was going to recommend them to. My boss uses them every for the company BBQ.

Elegant Eating contracts out to a company called Immaculate Receptions. They provide wait staff that will also do some cooking. (Like working an omlet station) -- They'd probably barbecue also. I'm looking for their # for you.

Thanks for all the recommendations!
Yeah, we definetly don't want to get it catered, we're just having a laid-back beach BBQ.
I know an old friend had a guy BBQ at her house once for a party, but I think she knew him from somewhere.
Keep the suggestions coming please!!!

All I know (i was totally surprised!) is that my parents' home looked like a restaurant...and there were white-gloved waitresses serving food and then cleaning my mother's kitchen. Food is excellent. Website is: www.eleganteating.com

There's a place on Broadway in Massapequa called "Ain't Just Chicken."
John, the owner, has an offshoot called JMA Catering that strictly does barbq's. In fact, the 18-foot grill that he uses is stored in the store.
I'll have to get you the #.
