What brand are your kitchen cabinets?
I'm seeing alot of names out there and am looking for feedback... so far Ive seen Kraftmaid, Thomasville, Timberlake, American Woodwork (I think thats the name)... any opinions, good or bad, on any of these brands?

we just put in Kraftmaid, and my parents just put in Thomasville. They're pretty comparable and we're both happy with them.
I know Kraftmaid has different quality price points - we went with the higher-end all wood construction.

We have Kraftmaid that was put in about 10 years ago now by the previous owner. Not bad, we are keeping them for now. The one thing I do not like about them is that the hinges are on the outside of the doors, not hidden inside. Its so minor, but it bugs me.

Richmaid... alll wood, tongue and groove.
My FIL is a kitchen designer and sells Richmaid exclusively.

ohhh....so pretty!!! What did you use for the countertops? Did you do the backsplash yet? It is hard to tell in the pic.

The counter is Black Galaxy granite... basically black with some copper and gold flecks in it. The under the counter halogens really pick that up. Yes, we did a tile backsplash in a smaller tile to match the floor which further picks up the flecks. I just don't have an update pic.
We redid an ENTIRE house in the last four months (we were not living there). I'll be posting my complete home review soon.
