Upholstered Glider from Target?
I was thinking about ordering one since the lead time is only a week. I am just hesitant because it will cost about $500 and I don't know if it is comfy or not. Does anyone have one from Target?

I wouldn't buy a glider unless you can try it out... I have an upholstered glider by "Best chairs" and I absolutely LOVE it. It's my lifesaver during those late night feedings. I spent about $550 on it. If I were you, I'd do some comparison shopping and try out some of the upholstered gliders to find one that's most comfy for you.

Re: Upholstered Glider from Target?
I definately recommend an upholstered glider as opposed to a wooden one, however you dont' have to get it just from target if you want it right away.
personally we got ours from Buy Buy Baby in Huntington and we took it home that day -- they had it IN stock and the woman said that most of the gliders on the floor were in stock in the colors shown -- they only needed to be ordered in different colors.
Ours is by Best Chairs and was around $450 and it is so great. It is a sage/white gingam plaid. It is so comfortable and I really feel like it is well made.
Before you order it from target I'd recommend checking the best chairs out at BBB in huntington and seeing if they have one you'd like in stock. Best Chairs comes o highly recommended from everyone.
Good luck!

Re: Upholstered Glider from Target?
I agree on trying it out first. I just swore I wanted an upholstered glider but after "test driving" all the glilders I ended up with a wooden one from Best Chairs because it was so comfortable and everything was the perfect height. I can rest my arms and put my head back while nursing. Its also so soft and cushiony. Mine was around $550 also for glider and ottoman and totally worth every penny. Someone gave us a glider and we put it downstairs and I can totally tell the difference in comfort.
