Repost: old wives tales

I posted this on parenting, but since so many of you know what you are having I thought I'd ask...

DH and I are not finding out the sex, but are these traits true for any of you?

If you are having a girl, your face will totally distort, your butt will grow, you will crave sweets, and you will have morning sickness

If you are having a boy, you look and feel great, you carry low, you crave salt, and you get many body cramps

I thought for sure I was having a girl. I was carrying all over, my face looked horrible (didn't change shape, I just look so tired and drained and puffy).

Low and behold, we were told 100% . We made the tech check twice! LOL

I pretty much follow that rule. When people see me they always say, "you look so good, you must be having a boy." I'm mostly belly.

I knew I was having a girl.... most of the old wives tales for me were true.... I am HUGE totally carrying everywhere, although now it seems to be all belly just cause I am ready to burst.

my face didnt change much until these last few weeks (I am 36 weeks now), I definitely noticed my nose spreading a bit, and I love chocolate now (something I never really wanted before). I was however lucky in the MS department, not a day of of it!

well i had a girl..and no morning sickness what so ever..i had no crazy cravings until the last 3 weeks..and yes it was sweets....my face didnt change but my butt did grow.. but thats where i put on my weight anyway..so i dont think it had anything to dowith having a girl..actually everyone thought i was having a boy.
