Have you been to Mexico-- where have you been?
Looking for a place to go for an anniversary trip. Mexico is close, and the flights aren't too bad..
Looking for ideas-- besides Cancun.. TIA!

We also went to the Riviera Maya. A little outside Playa del Carmen. I totally recommend it. So much more relaxed than Cancun.

Yes - we went to the same place - El Dorado Royale All-Inclusive - LOVED it!! Probably going back this summer!

We went there for our HM and loved it- we actually had to leave early because Hurricane Emily hit while we were there. We want to go back, but can only go once hurricane season has already started and we fear getting stuck in a hurricane again. My advice to you is to go there as long as it is not hurricane season. We stayed at El Dorado Royale Spa Resort and LOVED it!

Puerto Vallarta, it was nice but a lot of people bother you if you go on the beach (vendors)...if you stay at the resort, you are fine.

depends what you like to do, if you go to Riviera Maya, you have so many options for sightseeing... we have been to Cancun but next time we will go it will def. be Riviera Maya, I have never seen more beautiful water like I saw in Tulum...

It's 150 miles North of acapulco- it's amazing.
If the Americanization of Cancun isn't your think and you want something a little more intimate- check it out- it's amazing & inexpensive. We stayed at a great boutique hotel- a suite (only 7 in entire propery & no children allowed) for $199/night and it was a 1 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

We went to Cozumel and went scuba diving. We really enjoyed it but we were totally lazy and stayed in our resort the whole time.
