I just fell up the stairs

For the most part I am ok, scratches on my hands and wrists. I MOSTLY caught , myself but did have some pressure in my fall on my stomach.
I am a little freaked out right now.
Should I go to my doctor or is that over-reacting.
If I had to say, I would say only about 20-30% of my weight landed on my torso/stomach portion.

If it helps you have less worry, I would go to the dr or call them for piece of mind

Take care of those bruised hands.

When I fell foward in my 1st tri, I called my OB and they had me come in and did a sono on me, just incase. Nothing was wrong at all but it made me feel better. Call your dr and tell them you fell and ask them if you can come in. Glad your OK, I'm sure the baby is just fine too!

I would call the dr. and she what they say. Just to have peace of mind and not wonder...

I would call the doctor too. They will probably ask you to come in for a sono. It will make you feel better to see that the baby is fine.

I am glad you are ok and I am sure the baby is fine too.

I woudl go to the doctor- but you don't need to rush over or anything. I'm sure everything is fine.

I had a fall on New Years Eve day and fractured my hand. My stomach did hit the ground. But of course everything was OK. There is so much padding for the baby. My doctor told me that women of 8 months get into car accidents and their bellies hit the dashboard and the baby is just fine.

i've been there- the falling and having to call the doctor, and of course it was the same situation- i hadn't shaved in a while either- and was going right from work- trust me- they've seen worse. i even apologized when i went for it...hahaha....
definitely call them though, it'll put your mind at ease!!! good luck!

Call the dr for piece of mind and if they say to come in, take a shower and shave before you go.
I'm sure you're ok but you will feel better hearing the baby or seeing them.

i fall up the stairs all the time, im always rushing. take it easy dont want the baby to have a flat head. haha

You know I trip up the stairs way more than I have fallen down the stairs

Oh Deb I am glad you are OK...believe me when I fell I totally freaked out! Call your doctor for better piece of mind though Iam sure baby is fine....he/she is well insulated!

The baby is VERY protected this early in your PG....so you shouldnt worry. Remember how teeny tiny it is at this stage, it would take a LOT to hurt it or even for anything to reach it to disturb it. So dont worry, but call your DR tommorow anyway and tell them you fell, your anxious and have a sono.....You will have peace of mind and thats what you need, who cares if your over reacting, as long as you see the bean and you feel better...thats what matters....but Im sure little baby is fine
