A sweet thing that happend at work that cheered me up . A little long
With everything going on lately I have been feeling kind of down and my birthday in two weeks is not helping me feel any better! Anyway I am a teacher and toady I had a few of my girls stay with me and fix up my room . One of the things they did was put up the December calendar. I have a calendar that has a card for each day SO you have to change it every month well anyway I also have cards that have certain things on it like a turkey for thanksgiving a Christmas tree for Christmas a cake for a birth. I said "don't forget to put the true on the 25th" and I hear one my girls say to the other one" don't forget to put a cake on the 13th" ( totally forgot I had told them my birthday a few moths back, and who would have thought the would remember anyway) and I also heard one girl say "we have to decide ho is bringing the cake," I just thought this was SO sweet these are 6th graders. Guess i wont be getting much work done that day when i have that class.

That's sweet. It is nice to see them think about you once in a while. One year when I was teaching, the girls found out it was my birthday and passed a card they made around the room as I was teaching. It was so funny to see them try to sneak it around and pretend that I didn't see it - they were SOO bad at it

LOL this happened wirh my "bridal shower " my old class threw for me. One kid actually said can you bring in soda for us on that day in case someone forget to bring it and so i did so i had to bring soda for my own "shower" too cute
