Good night ladies
I am off to --- take Monistat 7.... and PIO.... and we are supposed to BD but of course the Monistat 7 says not to. So I am in a quandry - DH wants to go into a cup and use a syringe to ahem "insert". Are we crazy?????
Anyway I hope to post tomorrow afternoon about the transfer.....I have been  all weekend!!

Why do you need to BD, there shouldnt be anything in there to fertilize???

There is a school of thought that the ejaculate primes the uterus for fertilization. So my RE says to BD the night before.

you know - I heard of this once a long time ago while a family member was TTC'ing and forgot about until you just mentioned it.

Interesting, because my RE says to abstain for 48 hours before. It is annoying that not every dr. has the same protocol!

Well we abstain 48 hours before the retrieval, which is when DH gives the sample and they fertilize the eggs.
