question about ttc (my apologies if tmi)
Hi ladies. I have a question about what today's "sign" means and you ladies are so knowledable, I thought I;d turn to you once more 
AF is due to come on Monday and today my "CM" (not even sure if it's CM) was very strange - almost like what the end of my period would be like (sorry - but it had traces of brownish blood and had the consistency of what the very end of your period would be like). Does anyone know what this might mean? TIA

It could hopefully be implantation bleeding....meaning the egg is burrowing in your lining as we speak :) You may want to POAS this weekend :) Babydust to you !!!!!!!

I agree it could be implantation bleeding or it could be the start of AF. I hope it's not AF!

Hello - I'm such a dope - just realized if it is implantation that's going on, hcg wouldn't be recognized yet, right. Just wasted a few bucks by POAS lol. I'm so friggin impatient!

Well some people get implantation bleeding/spotting....a few days after implantation. If it's brown blood that means the initial implantation may have already occured. Your hpt may not be a very sensitive one.(i am a big fan of equate from walmart it's very sensitive, although I am mad they switched to +/-, I prefer the two line test) ...it also takes about 3 -5 days past implantation to get a bfp on a hpt. I would wait until the end of the weekend to test again.....sometimes af starts off with brown spotting :(

Thanks ladies, esp redstar (you are my saving grace!) I believe this is the first time I am noticing my period to be starting off this way... though God knows its probably the first few times that I am actually taking this much notice to it! This is all so confusing... I'm feeling pinching like cramps on one side which could be AF and its bogging me down. Guess I'll have to wait til Sunday morning and check once again. I should have bought stock in HPTs

This happens to me before AF, if it never happened to you before then, hopefully its not AF.
