I think DH's parents will be Grandma and Grandpa.
My Dad will be Pop-pop. My mom is deceased.
IL's and Dad are often together so the grandpa's will have to have different names.

Since both our sets of parents have grandchildren already, they are already being called certain 'names' by our nieces and nephews on each side..
My inlaws will be called "Mema" and "Papa"
My parents will be called "Grandma and Grandpa"
I will admit that it made it easy for us that each set of parents are being called different things, so we didn't have the grandma battles

this is something im annoyed at as of now i like the usual grandma grandpa but my mom wanted to be called something so my son started calling her me ma when we were in cali cause he didnt talk much but now she told him to call the guys pop pop which personally I dont like so Im hoping this baby will get the hang of grandma and grandpa. Im still trying to convert my son back to the norm.

I have thought about this too even though I am not preggo yet.
Unfortunately, both of DH's parents are deceased, so our kids will only have one set.
I called one set of my grandparents grandma and grandpa and the other set is Pop and G-G (stands for Grandma Grace). Maybe I wil lwt my parents decide what they want to be called? who knows.....

Katie - my mom and dad went through the same thing. My dad picked poppy and my mom couldn't chose. So I told her to wait and see what the baby calls her. So Emilie came up with Mimi and my mom loves it! That's the same why my grandpa became pop-pop. I would wait it out a little and see what the baby comes up with!

My parents are Pop and Grandma (we called my Dad's Dad Pop or Poppy so my dad wanted to be Pop after him).
My FIL is Grandpa or GrandDad (He is from England so maybe GrandDad is a British thing?) My MIL passed away but she probably would have been Grandma also.

My parents will be grandma and grandpa- that's what my niece calss them. We wanted DH's parents to be nonno and nonna, but FIL doesn't seem thrilled by it. Even though he's Italian he considers himself an American to he would prefer to be called grandpa.

My parents are: Poppy, Nana and Nana Kate ( I want to change my step mothers)
My Il's are Grandma and Grandpa, but my daughter calls him papa.

My grandmother will be "G.G" for Great Grandma
