Baby in pool question...
if she's going in an actual pool with chlorine and stuff...do I need to bathe her immediately after or when we get home?
I gave her a bath tonight

Re: Baby in pool question...
olivia went into my folks pool today and she got a rash on the back of her arms from the clorine. i would advise washing her right after why take the chance. take a washcloth with baby soap and do a quick sponge down until you can give a bath. good luck.

I always wait until that night and she is fine. Make sure there isn't a SUPER high level of chlorine, like no chlorine added that day and it should be fine.

Re: Baby in pool question...
When she was VERY little then I always washed her down immediately- last summer she was 3-4 months when we put her in the pool. This summer I change her out of her suit immediately when she leaves the pool and I will bath her when I get home and she has been fine every time. J&J sells cloths with their soap in them just add water and I usually take those with me when we are going to my SILs pool in case we are leave late so I can give her a quick cleaning if it's too late for a bath.

I usually do because she usually feels gross from all the sunblock as well but I don't think it's a must.

Wash her down but alos make sure she is wearinf a shirt over her bathing suit...their skin is very sensitive. Also make sure you have a swim diaper or rubber pants.. a wet regualr diaper is a creature of its own!!!

Gianna has been taking swimming lessons since she is 3 months old and I just wipe her down with a wipes after the lesson then give her a bath when I get a chance that day and she is fine...
