Faint Line on HPT
Ok, so I know that they say "A line is a line", but I took a test this morning (AF not due until maybe Sunday - I am really impatient). Anyways, I see something like a line there, but it is more than just faint...it is like barely visible, more like a pinkish shadow! Anyone have something like this and was actually PG? I know I will take another test in a couple of days, but the suspense right now is killing me!
Oh, and does anyone know if those digital tests can be used before AF is even due?

sounds like a PLUS to me! congrats!
First Response is usually the most accurate for early testing..digital I would wait until after AF was due..
PS- when I had tested I must have held the test up in EVERY angle possible in different lighting since it was so faint..LOL
but it was positive!

I did the First Response 5 day before AF test and took it many times. Everytime, it had the faint pink line and I was pregnant. So I say CONGRATS

Can you post a picture of it?
I would wait to use the digital until you get a nice BFP line of a regular test. The digitals need higher levels of hcg to come up "pregnant".

Congratulations you're pregnant honey!! I got the faint second line too and waited 2 days after I was late and whammo 2 dark lines!!

A line is a line as long as you can see it from a normal distance
Sounds like an early pg positive test to me though!
what brand of test did you take? The digitals measure at 50-75miu of HCG, if you take a digital and it's pos. you are def PG!!

Mine was very faint. You should buy one of those test with the positive or negative sign. I took an answer and got a faint line, then I took the other one and got an unmistakable BFP

Thanks everyone - I used an Answer Early test - and I would not say that I could see a line from a distance, maybe from a foot away and that's it?

I had a very very pale pink faint line...retested a few days later and it was bright pink! My fingers are crossed for you!!! (BUT I SAY CONGRATS!! )

That sounds good to me! I got my first very faint BFP on an Answer Early at only 9dpo!

A Line is a Line.
I got my positive - (very faint pink line) I might add - 4 days before AF was due - using First Response.
I waited a few days and tested again - and the line was much stronger......
I'd say Congratulations - Test again in a few more days just to be sure - but looks promising to me!!

Yup, this happened to me. I thought I was imaging the line to be there. It was REALLY FAINT four days before my period (just like you I could not wait). I retested and it kept getting darker. Well, I am now 16 weeks preggo!! Congrats!

i also took the same test very early, and I didnt see a line so I threw the test away.
When i went back into the bathroom, the test was on top of the garbage staring at me so for some reason i picked it up.
I stared at the stick and saw a very faint white line. You could hardly see it bc it was a white line on top of the white background-it looked like thats where the pink line wouldve been had i been pregnant-if that makes sense.
Anyway I called the 1800 # on the box& told them what i saw & they said if i saw anything other than the white blank space, then I was indeed pregnant!!
Sure enough i took more tests the next couple of days and the line got darker&darker!!
Congrats again-wishing you a wonderful 9 months!!!
