Another update on Me ( long , sorry)
well....Af showed last night obviously and I had already had today scheduled for an RE appnt.
So we "talked"...I told her I didnt understand. The timing was perfect, within a few hours of ovulating. The Semen sample was almost the best yet and 3 perfect follies...and yet nothing...
She doesnt know, is as perplexed as I am why we arent "Getting it".
I spoke to her about the weight gain and she said its a side effect of the injectables...Thank god Im not just a fat azz....LOL....
Well I told her we were gonna take a 4-6 month break, to decide what to do and she asked me not to.
She did a sono and saw a lot of good looking resting follies and feels that one more injectable cycle might work. She said the decision is ours, but she had hoped to give it one more go, shes determined to get us PG. We went over all my records, tests etc and talked some more.
She said she is friends with the IVF grant coordinator and is going to pressure her on the status of it and see if we can get to the top of the list based on past cycles, IVF might have a much higher success rate for us right now at this moment. It would probably only cost us about $7K out of pocket and thats about all we can afford.
SO.....I gave in. I didnt have the energy to even debate it, think it over. I just said...Well since this is the only thing I want in my life right now...lets keep going. What if ya know? What if this is it.
So ...so much for a break. I start injectables tommorow night. We are gonna stay at the same dose but for a few extra days. And Hopefully get on the top of that IVF list .
So...I have a little bit of a "possibility" out there....
I also looked into the SIRM intra vaginal culture IVF study( new IVF procedure , they cover the cost of the IVF if you participate) ...and "may" go for a consult if this cycle fails. I would need to take FMLA from work to do that though based on appnts so Im hoping I dont get to that point.
SO....another 2ww will begin in less then 14 days

It is so nice to hear how Dr. Chu really cares about you. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I know how hard this is, but I am glad you had an appt today. I always find that getting hope for the future takes a little sting out of the BFN.

I have looked into it, thanks! Im checkign everything out I can that we might qualify for. My insurance covers all sonos, bloodwor, and All meds...so its just the actual IVF if it coems to it that we need to pay for..which of course is the most $$$.

Donna...
I admire your strength...don't give up...I continue to pray for you and your DH and hope that one day very soon you will be blessed. I'm sure it must be extremely hard and frustrating and on top of all you've been through with Noelle and everything...so, we're here for you whenever you need us.
