Luteal phase
OK...Anyone understand what the deal is with this? I know I have read 100 times it is regualr and does not change, maybe by a day.
I used to ALWAYS get AF on what I thought was 13dpo. And occasionaly on 12dpo. I looked back on previous charts and they were regualr 12 or 13. Well last month it was what I have to guess is 15dpo ( or 15 days past iui, which Im counting as O day)...and now Here I am again, todays day 14po and nothing yet, but temp dropped below CL so I know Im not PG. Looks like it will be tommorow, so another 15dpo.
Is this something that ok? Or would a 3 day change be something weird based on what all the info says?
Just wondering, cause I have too much time on my hands to THINK about all this! LOL
THANKS

Re: Luteal phase
I am not sure if you are charting with FF or ovusoft, but they don't always get the O date correctly. Are you 100% positive when you o'd ? In other words, did you get blood work and a u/s done ? Then your temp had a thermal shift ? The last two cycles, FF had me Oing on incorrect dates...but because I had the bloodwork, u/s and the fertility monitor , I was able to detect the error. Post your chart,....I will let you know, if I notice anything.
If you are on progesterone suppositories or, if you had multiple ovulation, I believe the LP can be a bit extended. If you had multiple ovulation, your O day, can exist over a day or two. Mulitple ovulation doesn't occurr simantaneously.

Re: Luteal phase
Wow...Michelle, thank you for explaining that. Since I have been on meds for multiple follicles my lp has been a day or two longer. I wasn't sure why, but now I understand and will know not to expect AF till at least 15 to 16 dpo. I don't know where or how you have all this knowledge, but thank you again.

Re: Luteal phase
My blood work has been showing a "surge" and I go in for the IUI the next day. The last 4-5 cycles I have used the blood work versus depending 100% on an OPK. So Im using IUI day as O day based on the surge on blood the day before.

Re: Luteal phase
Donna, last cycle, your IUI wasn't timed correctly. I remember that from your chart, that's why I FM you. This cycle, I remember, the same thing almost occurred. Remember when I had you going crazy ...running to the drug store. :) ? lol
Baby dust :) Hopefully, your coverline is wrong and AF doesn't show !
Gerty, Dr. Stelling at Rsofny, told me about the multiple ovulation not occurring simulataneously :)

This cycle, I didnt do the IUI that next day, we waited and did the IUI when the blood work showed ready versus the OPKS and the month before same thing. The OPK's showed 3 fertile days, we ended up using the last one based on Blood work.
thanks for the hope though...lol
Im sure she will show today, Im just wondering about the timing here...
The snythyroid brought my cycles back to 28 days, but this and last month I noticed Im up t0 30-31 days and still O'ing day 13-14.
