OK - help me out here... (pic added)
This weeks/months thing still has me confused from my prego days...
He's 16 weeks old today (born on a Monday) but his birthday is the 26th. Is he 4 months old today or on the 26th????

He's 4 months on the 26th, but is 16 weeks old today.
One you're counting months, the other is weeks. Weeks are more accurate when referring to infants in terms of development.
Since the non-parents seemed confused about the weeks thing, I would refer to him as almost 4 months.

I stopped counting weeks after 8. I'd say he's 4 months on the 26th.

I always count on his b-day. For example, he was born July 7 so on Jan 7 he turned 6 months.
A month does not usually come out to exactly 4 weeks, so while he is 16 weeks old, he's not 4 months until the 26th.

They aren't 1 month until the 26th.

Some months have more than 4 weeks in it... therefore making the whole 16 week thing confusing...

Adorable!!!  I eventually stopped saying how old Christopher is in weeks and just say "he's almost 6 months."

I lost track of how many weeks Hayley is...I just counted, she is 17 weeks and is 4 months old on the 18th of January
