baby weight at 11 months old
How much does a baby weight at about 11 months old? Over 15 pds? The reason I ask is because my DH's step-mother and Father want to buy a Playyard which contains a bassinet, changing table, and playpen to bring out to Hawaii to see them but, we really won't be going out there until the baby is about 11 months old. The weight limit on the Playyard is 15 pds, so I wondering if it is worth for them to get.

I think most babies are, but I guess it depends (if they're preemie, etc.) My friend's son weighed 25 lbs at 9 mos. so you never know!

By 11 months the baby would be out of the bassinet part definitely. They could still use the play yard part though

Bella is 10 months today and she weighed 20 lbs at 9 months!

I was told thaty babies triple their birth weight by 1 year, so it probably would not be a good idea to buy it.

The playyard would still be fine but not the bassinet part. My dd was out of that around 4 months old.

Well Ryan is only 5 and half months now and weighs almost 20 lbs!  So needless to say he is no longer in the bassinet in the pack and play.

Emily is 9 months and is 21 lbs.
I believe the 15 lb limit is for the basinnet but not for the bottom part of the playyard. At 11 months you wouldn't use the basinnet anyway because the baby would be standing and could fall out.
