A prenatal massage. If you are preggo, you must tell them that. You don't want them to perform any massages that may be harmful to you or the baby.

I got a pregnancy massage in Hawaii and it was awesome!

KittyCat, I know the spa I went to won't do it during the first trimester....
Re: the special table... I've heard some places have a table where the mattress has sort of a "cut out" in the middle for your belly, and the cut out is all cushiony. At Maximus they didn't have it-- they did the massage first in a partially-reclining position on my back (because you can't lay flat on your back after a certain point in the preg), and then on my side, propped with pillows to act like a body pillow. It was great. I was one of three preg ladies there that morning, they told me! :)

I just want to add that i was at Edamame Spa last week for an eyebrow wax (I cant get a massage until Im done with the 1st Trimester) and the spa is so beautiful and they are so nice there!

How much do they charge for that 50 min. new life massage? Sounds really relaxing

Make sure you ask if any of their therapists have extensive experience in prenatal massage.. no matter where you go...
I got one on Saturday.. 10 days before my scheduled c-section.. the best thing I ever did.. I should have been doing it the whole last trimester. They positioned me on three different contour pillows and on my side.. half way through she flipped me over.. Everything hurt, and she managed to make me feel 110% better.. Good Luck to finiding a great person!!!
