my appt on Thurs with Dr. Steven Palter - Gold Coast IVF

Does anyone have any personal experience with Dr. Palter or his staff?

I saw him on Thursday and it looks like I am joining your ranks. I had thought this was a possibility, but it is totally heartwrenching at the same time. Despite our months of trying, I am not pregnant and they don't think I have ovulated. I have PCOS. Now I am going to start a bunch of tests to make sure my tubes aren't blocked and there aren't further problems. DH has an appt on Weds to bank (he was diagnosed with prostate cancer on top of all of this) and they will do a sperm analysis.

The dr thinks we should to in-vitro vs in-semmination. As long as there are no other problems and DH's sperm is normal.

I am going to have to take some medication to bring on AF and then we can start the tests.
